Available in coupe & hard-top spider configurations, the supercar was unveiled during an exclusive event at Miami Beach in the United States.

At the rear, instead of a spoiler, the designers have used two active flaps integrated with the rear screen. These flaps permit two different configurations, Low Drag and High Downforce, and their functioning remains vehicle speed-dependent.

Powering it is Ferrari’s F140HD 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that develops a colossal 819bhp and 678Nm, making the 12Cilindri the most powerful pure-combustion series production Ferrari road car to date.

The 12Cilindri is built around a new all-aluminium chassis, featuring a 20mm reduction in wheelbase and a 15% increase in torsional rigidity compared to the 812 Superfast.

Visually, the 12Cilindri is a stark combination of the brand’s past and present. While the styling is a complete departure from the outgoing 812, the fascia is a clear nod to the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (Daytona).

Inside, the 12Cilindri introduces a new Human Machine Interface (HMI) comprising three displays – a central 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 15.6-inch driver’s display, and an 8.8-inch display for the co-pilot.

The coupé gets a panoramic glass roof as standard, while the Spider features a retractable hard top – the trade-offs are a 100-litre reduction in boot space and a 60kg increase in dry weight.
