Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced a price increase across its entire model range, effective January 1, 2025. The decision comes as the automaker faces rising input costs, unfavorable exchange rates, and increased logistics expenses. The adjustment will apply to all Model Year 2025 (MY25) vehicles, with price hikes of up to ₹25,000 depending on the model.

Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer at HMIL, highlighted the rationale behind the price hike. “At Hyundai Motor India, we strive to absorb rising costs to minimise the impact on our customers. However, the sustained increase in input costs has made it necessary to pass on a portion of this escalation through a minor price adjustment,” he said.
The company has assured customers that the price increase has been carefully calibrated to balance cost pressures with customer affordability.
