Leadership transition
Joseph Fadool, currently serving as Vice President of BorgWarner Inc. and President and GM of Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems, will step into his new role as COO. In this position, Fadool will oversee the operations of the entire company, with business unit presidents reporting directly to him. Fadool will report to Frédéric Lissalde, President and Chief Executive Officer of BorgWarner.

The new structure will see the Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems led by Dr. Volker Weng. Drivetrain and Morse Systems will be managed by Isabelle McKenzie, while PowerDrive Systems will be under the leadership of Dr. Stefan Demmerle. Henk Vanthournout will head the Battery and Charging Systems unit. This reorganisation is intended to foster greater focus and accountability within each business unit, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Starting July 1, 2024, BorgWarner will align its financial reporting segments with the new business unit structure.
