Gurugram: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has introduced the highly anticipated Karizma XMR priced at INR 1,72,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), reaffirming its commitment to the premium segment.
Powerful Performance and Advanced Technology
The Karizma XMR features a 210 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-Valve engine that delivers 25.5PS@9250 rpm and 20.4Nm @ 7250 rpm of torque. The motorcycle accelerates from 0-60 in just 3.8 seconds, with a well-optimized power and torque delivery curve that ensures a seamless city or highway ride.
The 6-speed gearbox with Slip and Assist clutch system enhances downshifting stability. The chassis geometry is designed for stability and agility, offering a balanced ride experience. The front suspension with 37mm dia pinch bolted forks and rear suspension with 6-step preload adjustable gas-charged monoshock ensure smooth ride quality.
To cater to tech-savvy riders, the Karizma XMR comes equipped with cutting-edge features including an adjustable windshield, Intelligent Illumination Headlamp, and Turn-By-Turn navigation, ensuring an unmatched riding experience.
Collaboration and Engineering Excellence
The development of the Karizma XMR involved a collaborative effort between Hero’s engineers at the Hero Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur and the Hero Tech Centre Germany (TCG) near Munich, showcasing the brand’s dedication to innovation.

Ranjivjit Singh, Head of India Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, highlighted the rapid growth in the premium motorcycle segment, with recent launches like Xtreme 160R 4V and Harley-Davidson X440. The Karizma XMR, with its distinct brand equity, aims to resonate with the younger generation of riders.
Design and Technology
The Karizma XMR features dynamic Aero-Layered design, full fairing, and floating panels, providing agility and deflecting heat for rider comfort. The motorcycle comes with an adjustable windshield, Class-D LED projector headlamp, Auto-Illumination feature, H-shaped LED tail light, and an inverted display LCD speedometer with various functionalities.
Personalization and Styling
The Karizma XMR offers an array of accessories including anti-glare rearview mirror, hugger fender, mobile holder, and thigh pads for customized styling and enhanced functionality.
The motorcycle is available in three color options – Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red, and Matte Phantom Black.
