Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched an upgraded version of its popular sedan, Verna, featuring a new sporty rear spoiler and a new monotone Amazon Grey color. The upgraded sedan’s price starts from INR ₹1,100,400 for the 1.5 petrol version and from INR 1,493,400 for 1.5 Turbo Petrol version.
The rear spoiler enhances the aerodynamic characteristics of the vehicle while the new colour option takes the total available monotone options to eight, alongside other dual-tone options. With these enhancements, Hyundai aims to solidify the Verna’s position as a leader in the sedan market, appealing to style-conscious consumers looking for a blend of performance and luxury.
The sedan has been awarded a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, reinforcing its reputation for safety and reliability. It comes equipped with 33 standard safety features, including six airbags, three-point seatbelts, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), and Isofix child seat anchors across all trims.
Additionally, the vehicle incorporates Hyundai Smart Sense technology with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), utilizing radar and camera systems to detect obstacles and provide corrective actions and warnings.
Inside, the Verna offers a luxurious cabin filled with high-end features such as an integrated infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, front ventilated and heated seats, and 64-color ambient lighting. The inclusion of a Bose Premium Sound system enhances the in-cabin experience, ensuring a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for passengers.
