Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the latest iteration of its iconic Splendor motorcycle – the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0. This launch commemorates the 30th anniversary of the world’s highest-selling motorcycle, maintaining its legacy while introducing modern enhancements.
Retaining its iconic design, the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 incorporates contemporary features like LED headlights with HIPL (High Intensity Position Lamp) and a distinctive H-shaped signature tail lamp. Promising convenience and safety, the motorcycle is equipped with features such as hazard lights, digital speedometer with Eco-indicator, RTMI (Real Time Mileage indicator), Bluetooth connectivity for calls and SMS alerts, and a longer seat for enhanced comfort. The bike’s fuel efficiency stands at an impressive 73 kmpl.

The next generations Splendor has 100cc engine that produces 7.9 BHP @ 8000rpm and a max torque of 8.05Nm @ 6000 rpm. Aided with the i3s (Idle Stop Start System), the motorcycle has the highest fuel-efficiency of 73 kmpl, low service costs, and a longer service interval of 6,000 Km.
The Splendor+ XTEC 2 has been developed with the core focus on practicality and functionality. 0 includes a fully digital display with the eco-indicator as well as RTMI, service reminder, and side stand indicator. Communication features include Bluetooth that supports calls, SMS, and a battery alert, in addition to having a USB charger added for usefulness. The motorcycle has a warranty of five years/70000 Kms which means that customers have to worry less when they are buying the product.
Regarding safety aspects, the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 features hazard light winkers side-stand engine cutoff, bank angle sensor, and tubeless tyres for safety in operation in dynamic mode. Enhanced night-time illumination comes from the newly developed multi-reflector headlight combined with the elegant signature tail light and the new LED headlight with integrated HIPL system.
It comes in three dual-tone colour options – Matte Grey, Gloss Black and Gloss Red – the Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 delivers elegance with technology, providing consumers with an iconic and luxurious method of transportation.
