Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) has launched its latest offering, the Ampere Nexus electric scooter, at an introductory price of INR 1,09,900 (ex-showroom). The Ampere Nexus, the latest product model of Greaves Electric, is an important milestone because it is the first Greaves product to be available in the segment of high-performance personal electric scooters.
The Ampere Nexus is entirely conceived, designed, and manufactured in India, featuring several first-ever innovations and class-leading specifications. It comes in four attractive colours: With the range of colors such as, Zanskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey, riders can go for any option suiting their needs and taste.
Features and specifications
The Ampere Nexus delivers a list of parameters such as the best- in-class hybrid swing arm with cartridge suspension, state of the art aerodynamics with a unique air-cool architecture and a chassis with Nex.Armor technology. The monitor further comes with a 7″ TFT Touchscreen that features SmartSense technology which translates to immediate responsiveness. For safety, LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry is employed for the battery improving the cycle life by 1.3 times and achieving the fastest charging time within 3 hours 22 minutes.

Riding experience and performance
Equipped with a powerful mid-mount drive and a 3 kWh safest LFP battery, the Ampere Nexus is going to meet the needs of the riders with a peak motor power of 4 kW. This five-mode riding mechanism provided riders with options from a forward to a reverse motion, and the front disc brakes allowed them to control different terrain or climate. The scooter’s CMVR certified range of 136 km per charge which is meant to extend the overall exploration without scooter owners having to recharge frequently to complete the journey.
Record-breaking expedition
Ampere Nexus relished triumph through a record-breaking forty day journey across Kashmir to Kanyakumari that created four iconic records in the India Book of Records. The success narrative includes first of its kind longest electric scooter ride covering ten thousand kilometre in a single ride, visiting 115 cities and towns, towing of a pickup truck and creating the largest electric scooter brand logo on white sand.
